Yep, another blog. That makes, what, like half a billion blogs just for the 300 million or so people in the United States? So, why am I doing this? Because my wife wants to blog about her homeschooling stuff and I have to test the water whenever she goes swimming.
So what is this really about? Well, I expect it will be really quite random, actually.
Today's random thought: Wow, DHL service around here is awful. My dear wife ordered her sister's present from the company named the same as the long river. It was shipped on Dec 17th. It was 40 miles away in some depot on the 21st. It was just delivered. Just now. Like as we type. No wonder the Germans kept losing to us last century, they probably delivered the much needed tanks two days too late. (DHL is wholly owned by Deutsche Post World Net) DHL History
UPDATE: Scratch that, the package didn't arrive, in fact it said earlier today it was on the truck for delivery and now it says the package went to Bridgeville, DE. HELLO, DHL, that's FARTHER away.
Now I know that the DHL folks outsource the local deliveries to some guy who promises to wear a yellow shirt and drive a yellow van around, so it's not their fault everything around here runs on eastern shore time. Oh, look at that, maybe my next random thought. Who knew it would come so quick. But is anything really random? And if nothing is really random, why fight it... I might tackle China instead next time.
